Social and Emotional Development Foundation 2.3: Interactions With Caregivers and Other People

Narrator: In the Social and Emotional Development domain, the strand Social Interactions includes the foundation Interactions with Caregivers and Other People. Children from 11 through 23 months participate in routines and complex interactions. They try to get familiar people to help them meet their needs. Children in this age period show interest in unfamiliar people and gradually interact with them when a familiar person is nearby.
