Caregiver 1: I put it through here.

On screen: The caregiver taps at the entrance to the tube.

Caregiver 1: Yeah. (inaudible)

On screen: Skye reaches for the tube and scoots closer to it. The caregiver holds a ball out to Skye.

Caregiver 1: There you go. Let it go.

Example 3

Text on screen: Imitates simple actions during interaction.

On screen: 6-month-old Daniil lies on his back on a carpeted floor. His caregiver kneels next to him, gently shaking a rattle close enough for him to reach.

Caregiver 3: Shake, shake, shake, shake.

On screen: Daniil reaches with both hands, and the caregiver places the rattle in his right hand. Daniil moves it from right hand to left, tapping at it. He drops the rattle, and the caregiver picks it up and shakes it for him to see.

Caregiver 3: Shake, shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake.

On screen: Daniil reaches out again and grasps the rattle.

Caregiver 3: Hmm, you wanna try it?

On screen: The caregiver lets go of the rattle. Daniil brings the rattle close to his body. Then he waves his arm, and the rattle makes noise.
