On screen: 9-month-old Michael is standing, holding on to a water table. There is a small amount of water covering the surface of the table. Other children are playing nearby. He excitedly starts patting the table to make a splash. First, he uses one hand, then he uses both.

Caregiver 1: (off screen) Well hi, Michael. Getting you so excited!

On screen: Michael looks up and smiles at his caregiver. He continues to splash the water by patting the table.

Caregiver 1: (of screen) Oh-oh-oh, it’s OK. I’m here. Don’t worry.

On screen: Michael keeps splashing the water.

Child 2: Mia! (inaudible)

On screen: An older child joins Michael and begins to splash water. Michael pauses to look at her then begins excitedly splashing the water again.

On screen: 11-month-old Olaseni is squatting down, holding onto a large open box. The box is lined with mirrors and there are wooden disks inside.

On screen: 9-month-old Skye is kneeling in front of a tower of three large soft blocks. It is taller than she is.

Caregiver 2: Hey look, I’m going to put another block over here.

On screen: The caregiver picks up another block and places it on top of the tower.

Caregiver 2: (inaudible) … look how tall it is.

On screen: Skye reaches up and knocks the top block off the tower. Then she pushes on the tower and the whole thing falls down. She bounces and laughs in excitement.

Caregiver 2: Wow!

Skye: (laughing)

Caregiver 2: It fell down?

Skye: (laughing)

Caregiver 2: You like that? You like when it falls down?

Skye: (vocalizing)

On screen: The caregiver starts to build the tower again.

Caregiver 2: Three.

On screen: Skye reaches up and knocks down the tower.

Skye: (laughing)

Caregiver 2: Yay, you did it.
